Prabhu Deva is an Indian dance icon, choreographer, film director, and actor whose electrifying movement has reshaped South Asian pop culture for more than three decades. Often called the “Indian Michael Jackson”, he fused classical Indian forms with hip-hop, funk, and street styles to create a vocabulary all his own.
From his breakthrough in Kadhalan to global anthems like Muqabla and Urvashi, his choreography has defined an era. As a director, he has helmed blockbuster hits across Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi cinema, and as a mentor he continues to inspire a new generation of dancers worldwide.

Battle For The
Spotlight
Dance crews from across Canada will compete for a chance to perform live on the grand stage. The journey begins online, where crews submit their performance videos for evaluation by expert judges.
The competition kicks off with online submissions. The best dance groups will be evaluated through the Judges' Silent Vote and judging criteria. The highest-ranked crews will advance to the next round.
The Top 8 Finalist Crews will earn the opportunity to perform live on August 22, showcasing their talent in front of a live audience and judging panel. After an electrifying finale, one crew will be crowned the champion and earn the ultimate spotlight.
